Developing an estate means clearing land, and clearing land means cutting trees. We do not pretend otherwise. What we commit to is the arithmetic afterwards: for every tree we cut, we plant two more.
Conscious development means taking responsibility for what we change — and making sure we leave more behind than we take away.

The running count lives on our Impact Count page, and every January we publish the full year's numbers — trees, green space, drainage and community projects — in an annual impact report.
